I am used to being home 24/7 and do not like restricting and binding clothing but cannot be and do not want to be a nudist but want to be sexy and feel good in front of my husband. Clothing can be uncomfortable and scratchy and thats not for me- I want something that says I am easy going but a sexy woman. I want clothes that make me and help me look and feel good- this dress is beyond sexy- nothing too tight and has the right oomph here and there with alot of sexy and teasing. I love the color, love that its not like everything else i see on the store racks- I like this designer for the pure fact she knows woman have curves and not always a perfect model size. Way to go with the the style.

It is important that a woman feels good about who she is--that she feels comfortable in her own skin no matter what size, shape, color, flaw, beauty, etc. This is only done by a correct combination of BOTH fashion and comfort. These elements are not the same apart. If one isn't fashionable, to their own taste and standards, they won't be comfortable, and though one might be fashionably dressed, if they are not comfortable, she will feel awkward. It is the combination of these two, as well, that are unique to each person. Some may not feel comfortable in a bright pink tube top, while another might not feel comfortable in a black tee-shirt. If we recognize this about others--that they are living (and dressing!!) according to their own style (fashion) and comfort-level--we would be more appreciative of others, which would create a more loving world!

If your aren't comfortable then you're going to be miserable and that ruins it all even if you do look like a million bucks!

Fashionable and comfortable clothing is very important because, as a woman, it's important to me to feel good, feel sexy, and feel "current." But if fashionable clothing isn't also comfortable, the fact that it's fashionable means NOTHING! I don't want to be squeezed into something too tight or too restrictive just to look good.

This outfit is the perfect combination of sexiness and comfort. It accentuates the curves of a woman and will look good on all sizes!

Thanks for he great giveaway.

Fashionable clothing is important so that I portray myself as being timely and on-trend for clients, and so that I can get a personal pick-me-up and feel great. Comfortable clothing is a must because I am a busy, active mom. This dress is great for me because of the cut, and because I am in HOT Florida.

cranepuffin said...

I think its important because if you don't make an effort to reach some sort of fashion then you are judged - acurately or inacurately. Either way, its uncomfortable being judged.

Fashionable is great but you must be comfortable and confident with what you are wearing.

Why is it vital that my fashionable clothing be comfortable too?

Several reasons, actually!
1) I am a teacher at a private school, so we are expected to dress up much moreso than your average teacher. I've seen colleagues teach in 3" heels. I'd like to be able move around and feel good in my clothes, and the typical slacks and blazer or pencil skirt combinations are restricting and not at all conducive to proper movement, especially when I'm teaching something that requires me to demonstrate physically.

2) I live in the heart of a very urban city, in a wealthy district that caters to many white-collar professionals. When I walk down the street, it isn't unusual to see ladies dressed to the nines. I'd love to be able to blend in properly in this downtown area inundated with stores like Coach, Hermes, Burberry, St. John, and Louis Vuitton, to name a few. At the same time, I'm not willing to wear clothes or stilettos that are hard to navigate the cement sidewalks in. Therefore, it's imperative that I get clothes that are functional and fashionable, as well as comfy!

Fashionable and comfortable clothing is important to me because I have a curvy body type that doesn't fit the "norm" in the big stores! I am working on changing my outlook on my body and am slowly updating my wardrobe to include pieces that make me feel beautiful and sexy!

Fashionable and comfortable clothing is important to me because, as an ER tech I rarely have the opportunity to wear anything fashionable. Clothes must also be comfortable because I don't want to spend the few nights out I have wearing clothing that's all feels like a job to get into.

Dressing fashion forward and looking stylish and chic is very important to me, in fact, I am passionate about it. But so is being comfortable in those fashions, and as I have evolved into the woman that I am I have learned that you don't have to give up being comfortable in order to be stylish! In order to look your personal best and attract attention and catch the eyes of those around you, you have to feel confident and positive about yourself and you can't do that if you are not comfortable in what you are wearing. So really the two variables, fashion and comfort do go hand in hand! I am constantly looking for the latest and greatest styles that are going to help me to create new and unique "looks" for myself so when I go into a store I pick out what I love, then I go try it on in the dressing room and I move around in the clothes like a wild dancer just to see how they feel on me and if they fit me well in all the right places. I think that is so important to do, because in the end you will have clothes that you love, clothes that make you feel unique and most importantly, you will know that they fit you and are comfortable. Thanks so much for the chance to enter.

Being fashionable while comfortable is a must for me. There's no reason being a mom has to mean that I have to look like a mom. There are lots of fashionable and trendy options that are great for on-the-go or in-the-house. You CAN have the best of both worlds!

How can you look fashionable when you are uncomfortable? That's my philosphy. If you are comfortable, you are happy and it shows in your face, your demeanor, even the way you hold yourself, therefore making you look fabulous!

I have gotten to a point in my life where I have many priorities which don't include constantly having to "hitch up" uncomfortable clothing, twisting my ankles and worrying about something being out of place.

Comfort in your own skin often equals comfort in clothing!

I have a 2hr commute in to work every day in LA rush hour traffic, which I am sure you have ALL heard horror stories about. Yes, it is as bad as they say it is!

That is 2hrs to get there, 9hrs (well 8 and a lunch break!) of sitting in an uncomfortable office chair typing away at a keyboard, followed by a 2hr commute home.

My entire work week is uncomfortable and drab.

Lucky for me my office has a casual dress code! Unlucky for me is the fact that big wig potential advertising partners and the occasional celeb stop by for meetings or interviews!

I am torn between being comfy and looking like a hot mess, or being in pain for 13hrs a day looking cute and impressive!

My theory is if I am comfortable (while wearing fashionable clothes) I wont look like a sourpuss. If I do not look like a sourpuss I look cute I feel confident. If I feel confident it opens many doors. Opening doors means more money, which means more cute and comfy clothes!

Its the circle of life. ;)

Fashionable clothing is important to me because impressions--not just the first--matter. Clothing is a reflection of the person and a kind of costume of the person you want to be. Maybe it is a "fake it until you make it" kind of thing, but it works. Thanks for the giveaway! theprophecygirl at hotmail dot com

To me, sexy is NOT uncomfortable. I've never seen a woman in uncomfortable clothes and thought she looked great in them. When I see her I just have to wonder how she can breathe. A woman who wears fashionable clothing as well as comfortable clothing feels and looks sexy!

Christina - xristya@rock.com - Comfort is the most important aspect of them all. No matter how wonderful you may look, if you have to grit your teeth and be in pain to wear any fashion, how happy or sociable can you be at any event? Secondly, of course fashion is important - unless you're wearing vintage, which is a form of fashion in itself - because who wants to look as if they just stepped out of the Middle Ages? Thanks so much for the chance to win!

I am .. or so I have been told ... a delightful snob and a delightful snob .. of course ... has to be fashionable. But, if I was fashionable but not comfortable ... I wouldnt be, surely not me ... a delightful ... snob - I'd be horrors or horrors one cranky snob. In a nutshell - my recipe of comfort and fashionable clothes can also be your recipe - that is if you are also wanting to be known as delightful snob.

Fashionable is important to me because it makes me feel confident and lets everyone know I am worthy of their time on my job. Comfortable is important to me because I can have my whole brain on my job and I won't be thinking, 'oh my gosh, these shoes kill' or 'this shirt itches like crazy!'

Fashionable and comfortable clothing is important to me because I'm a reformed fashionista. I looove pretty and quality clothes, but since I work form home now, I just can't justify it since I rarely get the chance to show them off anymore. But working from home also has its challenges. I just don't feel like part of the work force in my pjs or workout clothes, and I don't want to wear my good clothes around the house and then risk the dog snagging my silk or paying for drycleaning when no one but me or the dog sees the fashion show. So I would like comfortable fashionable things to wear to work at home. Also so that I could run out of the house for an errand or meeting and not have to stare into my closet for half an hour. Thanks for the chance at this cute and comfy dress!

Well, I'll tell ya: fashionable and comfortable clothing seems to make my wrinkles disappear, my hair shine and my body parts lift magically! I can strut, sit, stand, lean and shimmy with a pleasing look on my face, and everyone will smile in response! However, if my clothes are terrible and tight or laughable and loose, I'll just end up with people either avoiding acknowledgment of my situation altogether...or they'll stare in horror at my unfortunate predicament. Who needs that?
